i know i know, i copied Eero Aarnio's
Ball Chair. i was bored! didn't bother to come up with original stuff ok?

its 0530 in the morning again. i can't sleep again. ahh. need to wake up early, guess i don't have to sleep tonight already.
so. i figured. i'll blog.
hello. it's been awhile. a long long while since i put in a decent entry. many things have happened, many things have changed. i wonder where i should start.
good things first then? the best thing that happened to me: jjjjaime koh szar mein. yup thats her really real name. four j's ok? although it's only been about 5 months, its a really wonderful feeling, and she's just almost totally like what i would have imagined. many many more years and many many more of such pleasant feelings please thank you very much!
then there's school. another wonderful department of my life. i never knew i could enjoy myself so much in school. from primary to jc school's always been a drag, nothing exceptionally fantastic, and you have more fun hanging out with classmates than studying. plus there's extra curricular activities, shooting and riding. but now its the total opposite. i'm just having a blast doing what i do in NUS now. to think that i went into industrial design having exactly zero knowledge of what it was about other than it had something to do with product design. now i'm awake at 0530 and i just sketched a concept for a motorcycle design. how cool is that? yes the hours are long but i'd rather this than regular hours doing anything exceptionally boring. a life less ordinary, yes please thank you very much.
ns is really turning out to be a major drag in my life. and i sort of figured out why it is that so many people hate the army, and it goes like this: the army is a big organisation without a face to it. so when people recall the army, what they think of is a 'thing', not a person. so it becomes very easy for people to objectify the army as an inanimate piece of junk that they can throw negative feelings at without feeling guilty about it. then, because humans in general have the uncanny knack for forgetting good feelings and remembering bad ones, the negatives of the army keep piling up like garbage from day one, while the positives don't seem to grow a nanometre.
natural. human nature.
which is why, i am starting to dislike the army.

unconsciously we move into the bad things in life.
shooting falls into this department now, unfortunately. unexpectedly, 2009 doesn't seem to be a very good year for shooting. dumb politics, dumb policies, dumb people in general. yes i am bitter about the way things are unfolding (has unfolded) around me, and what is worse is that so many things are not within my control. old people leaving, new people taking their places, flexing their muscles at old friends who used to be on their side. thats the way life goes eh? you operate in a way which is 100% selfishness and 0% selflessness. just leave me out of this. no thank you.
but it is at times like these where you have to be decisive about what you have to do. i still remember the promise i made to a friend. and because of that i'm not going to stop doing what i do. because people come and go. things come and go. events come and go. the only constant is you, and the promises you have made.
riding. ah what can i say. i need a bike. i need two wheels. with a damn big motor. life is really.. dull.. without a good pair of wheels on a motor. i've said it before and i will say it again: i was born with two wheels. and it will always be that way.
