You asked me if I love you
and I choked on my reply
I'd rather hurt you honestly
than mislead you with a lie
And who am I to judge you
in what you say or do
I'm only just beginning to see the real you

And sometimes when we touch
the honesty's too much and
I have to close my eyes and hide
I want to hold you till I die
till we both break down and cry
I want to hold you till the fear in me subsides

Romance and all it's strategy
leaves me battling with my pride
But through all the insecurity
some tenderness survives
I'm just another writer
still trapped within my truth
A hesitant prize fighter
still trapped within my youth

And sometimes when we touch
the honesty's too much and
I have to close my eyes and hide
I want to hold you till I die
till we both break down and cry
I want to hold you till the fear in me subsides

At times I'd like to break you
and drive you to your knees
At times I'd like to break through
and hold you endlessly

At times I understand you and
I know how hard you try
I watched while love commands you
and I've watched love pass you by

At times I think we're drifters
still searching for a friend
a brother or a sister
but then the passion flares again

And sometimes when we touch
the honesty's too much
and I have to close my eyes and hide
I want to hold you till I die
till we both break down and cry
I want to hold you till the fear in me subsides

My world is so much more beautiful because of you.

Thank you.

if you've been regularly reading this blog for at least the past yr you would be thinking right now: "hey, he's changed his blog back..."

yes yes yes.....

i've changed me mind again and gone back to something similar to the old template.

it's dull once again.

=)

DID YOU KNOW?

this past 2 weeks:
1. Zarqawi is dead. Killed in Baghdad.
2. Saddam Hussein's main defense lawyer is shot dead in Baghdad.
3. US marines are under (still) investigation for a suspected massacre.
4. Miami Heat beats Dallas Mavericks 4-2 in the NBA Finals to win their first ever championship under the management of Pat Riley ( i like the sound of the name. )
5. Relations between the US and Seoul worsen over the Pyongyang issue.
6. Taiwanese President Chen digs his own grave ( not literally ) by making the dumbest public statement complaining about how hard it is being a president. I mean really dumb.
7. World Cup fans lose an estimate $3 Trillion to gambling. Well... that's MY estimate anyway.
8. Oil prices are still at an all time high. This in turn causes sotck markets around the world to plunge...
9. The sun rises in the east and sets in the west. But you already know that don't you?
