haiz.. what chiam said was true.. i feel so guilty.. my friend died, i didn't go for his wake, and now he's just like a passing dream to me. argh. why must things be like this?

sad for happy too, he misplaced his gift from his gf just now.. how he reacted to it made me think just how impt some things can be to some people, even though it can mean like nothing much to everybody else... haven't happened to me in a long long time though...

we are all born with a death sentence. we cannot escape it, we cannot deny it. we are bound to the sentence for life, even though we have not done any wrong to deserve it. at the end of the day, the message is simple: you are going to die, and there's absolutely nothing you can do about it. sad huh? just gotta live with it dude.
had another one of 'those' conversations with a friend the other day. talking about stuff like this again, even though i told myself i will not talk about it anymore. sigh. how hard is the human urge to deny.
ever wonder how it is like to die? what's it like on the other side, if there is any in the first place. when you die, your body decomposes and gets returned to nature. but when you die, what happens to YOU? where do YOU go to after death?
on a lighter note, mervyn just sms-ed me today. haha lucky b*st*rd man. here's what he wrote: every night a struggle against the cold, every fight a momento of you... haha sounds so cheesy. Thanks for the blanket buddy, it's freezing in the AIR-CON bunk!

i got gold for ippt today! ran like i never ran before man.. how cool is that, now when i commission ( 22jan2004!!!! ) i get to put on that stupid little ippt gold badge on my no.4's..
taiwan is around the corner, like in just 2 weeks time.. so damn looking forward to it man... can't wait to get on a plane and fly over to hopefully enjoy the weather and scenery.
but first i gotta get past ex jaguar... hopefully it wouldn't be as screwed up as ex wolf.. which was REALLY screwed. i mean really man.. guess the platoon still needs some time to get used to each other's working style... mmm
listening to L.O.V.E. by Nat King Cole now.. how nice.. but love still sucks. i live for me and me alone. nobody else is gonna change that.
