i've got a secret to tell you guys...

here goes:

i found out, just very recently, that...

there is no such thing as true love.

you see, true love can only happen between the perfect man and the perfect woman, right? because the perfect man can do nothing wrong, and the perfect woman can do.... well.... nothing wrong too, right?

right?

well, now consider this. while there is such a thing as the perfect man (*ahem*), there, most unfortunately, is no such thing as the perfect woman (awww). so really most definitely there cannot be such a thing as true love, simply because the equation just doesn't add up!

and before you members of the female gender start berating me for stating the obvious fact that there isn't a perfect woman on the face of this green and blue earth, just take a look at yourself and others around you: is anybody perfect? if you do please let me know i'd like to take a look at that specimen.

so for all you romantics out there looking for true love, here's my advice: give it up and forget about it. you looking for true love is like a chicken mating with a duck: it just doesn't happen!

and here's some further advice for you: start appreciating the people around you and treasure whatever fine company you're in. people are imperfect in their own ways, and there will be things that put you off. but look in the mirror. you aren't any more better grade than your partner is. so leave things be because you are together for a reason, a reason maybe even you yourself cannot fanthom.
