this movie, i can say, is one of the better movies among the many others i've watched.

its a movie about criss-crossing affection and love, about betrayal, deception, forgiveness, about how you can love somebody and yet cannot be with him/her. and how you can not love somebody but still be together and be happy. it's also a show about cause and effect, how something can cause so many other things to happen, or not to happen.

watching the movie makes you want to step in and do something for the characters in the show because, for the characters for julia roberts and jude law, life is just so friggin unfair.

clive owen was so totally hatable in the show. his character was just so mean and loud and primitive and.. just so horrid. watch the show, you'll know what i mean.

natalie portman. oh natalie portman! haha woo.. she's the prettier one of the two females, and her story, similar to that of julia roberts and jude law, is one that is sad too. however, i still haven't figured out her character totally. she's very mysterious, without being mysterious at all. like why she'd be using a false name throughout the whole show, even towards jude law, the person she loves so much. hmm..

the soundtrack is spectacular too. damien rice, 'the blower's daughter'... iron and wine, 'the trapeze swinger'... ohh... very good!
